She took the Prima Felt Gate and cut it in half horizontally to mimic the lines of the ship. And that brown cardstock background ... that is actually the packaging that the felt gate came in!
Emelyn made this lovely layout:
You see the brown punched out swirl in the upper left corner?! That is the packaging from the Lollipop Flowers! It turns out that Michele also used the swirl in her layout! Michele and Em found really creative ways to recycle the packaging!
